It belongs alongside slow, savoury things - wild mushrooms, a shard of aged parmesan. A wine for when the table lingers.

The joy of Pinot Noir is its quiet refinement over time. As the vineyard continues to settle into itself, the 2024 vintage speaks with greater clarity — a wine that feels seamlessly composed, each element laced together with intent.
This is Tom’s Block in a more aristocratic frame.
There’s a lovely core of fruit here — summer berries and dark cherry — layered with lifted violet aromatics, a hint of peat, and notes of pink pepper, wild herbs and a gentle savoury edge. Fruit leads, but never overwhelms, allowing structure and nuance to carry the wine forward.
Thoughtful oak integration frames rather than shapes, guiding the wine into a long, graceful finish. Harmonious, restrained, and quietly bold — classic Moutere, classic Tom’s.

"This is a layered pinot with carefully balanced flavours ranging from wild strawberry and raspberry to black cherry, hibiscus tea and rosehip as well as hints of dried herbs. It displays inherent complexity without being intense; the mid-weight flavours slowly build to a sweet-fruited finish where a hint of cinnamon lingers. Savoury underlying tannins are set against lip-smacking acidity to keep everything poised and light on its feet. Not a blockbuster by any means but delicious and even a bit intellectual. One to enjoy over the mid-term as it reveals more facets of its personality with time."
